Tattoos have come a long way in 15 years. I have never felt a better vibe coming into this shop than the previous 4 or 5 shops I’ve been in over the years prior to Obsidian Ink. Mel is my artist but I catch myself admiring much of the work from the other artists in the shop.
Beautiful, clean shop, staffed by lovely, skilled and professional tattoo artists! I’m disabled, a cane user who can’t stand for long periods, and not only did I feel comfortable navigating the space, I think it could have even accommodated a wheelchair if I’d come with one. Shop is very welcoming to female, disabled, and LGBTQ clients and clients of color.
Been going to this shop for well over a year now, I’ve been to both Tomi and Morgan and I have nothing but good things to say about both. Exceptional artwork and care when tattooing and all the other artists at the shop are always so welcoming!
Best tattoo experience I’ve had in 10 years. The atmosphere there is extremely chill, you have a variety of artists with all different types of styles and everyone is extremely pleasant to talk to; which is great when you’re in there for an 6 hours tattoo session. I have to add I absolutely love the aesthetic of the shop and all of it’s nerdy greatness.😁
